Historical Notes:
The Motor Trend Editors Chose the Lincoln LS to receive their
magazine's car of the year honors and the Toyota Tundra was the
favorite truck. Neither of these vehicles were nominated for the
People's Choice. The magazine's Sport Ute of the year is the Nissan
Xterra, which did receive a place on the People's Choice ballot.
